I was excited to see the segment about biking as a commuting option air this morning at about 17 minutes into the broadcast. I was contacted this morning to be interviewed and filmed as part of a feature on bicycle commuting that will air in the first half hour of the Good Morning America broadcast tomorrow morning 5/16 on KXLY Channel 4. I hope they get some of what they filmed into that segment. For the sake of good video I rode down Doomsday Hill and back up again....it was 78 degrees out there! I look forward to seeing you all at the Wrap Up Party tomorrow!

Last night I was prepping my bike for today's commute. I had covered every contingency...so I thought. As I was pumping up my rear tire, I accidentally sheared the presta valve. The children quickly vacated the area as Dad was not terribly happy. My backup bike is in the shop. No spare tube; Sunday night. My lovely wife so sweetly offered her bike. Yikes!
